What We Do

What Does the Care Trust Do?

Together We Can Beat PovertyWe work to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. We serve all people regardless of religion, caste, race, ethnicity or gender. We work through long-term sustainable community development programmes and immediate disaster relief assistance.
We specially work with the families of Leprosy Patients.

Providing Blankets, Clothes, Food

The generosity of our donors and our fundraising efforts enable us to provide some very basic essentials such as blankets, clothes and food to the poor.

Assisting with Basic Education

We encourage children to attend school, buy bikes for educators to go to villages to teach, provide textbooks and stationary. For children that show promise we fund their attendance at a non public school. After the immediate help, comes education to help people break out of the poverty cycle.

Providing Real Homes for a Leper Colony

Our fundraising and the generosity of our donors gave us the opportunity to help fund the construction of brick and mortar homes for a leper colony. They previously lived in leaky makeshift huts and were shunned by society. These homes are making a long lasting massive improvement to the quality of their lives and future generations.

Fresh Drinking Water Tanks Project

We are delighted to announce that we have completed our Fresh Drinking Water Tanks Project! This will bring wonderful fresh water to a lot of people and help minimise the risk of water borne diseases. Here are some photos of the 2 new large water tanks and our Opening Ceremony. We are very happy to have completed this valuable and much needed project to make life easier and safer for current and future generations.
